Carpet Cleaning Process
Vacuuming:
We recommend thoroughly vacuuming your carpet at least 2 times a week. This is very important for keeping your carpet as clean as possible between professional carpet cleanings. It's much easier to remove dry soil when it's dry and vacuuming will remove about 70% of insoluble soil. We will vacuum your carpet as required before the professional carpet steam cleaning process.
Pre-Treatment:
Your carpet needs to be Pre-Treated before the cleaner does the steam cleaning. We Pre-Treat all of your carpet with our all natural citrus cleaning solution. Our carpet cleaners have no dangerous solvents, petrochemicals and no soap or detergent. It's a completely safe clean for animals and children.
Furniture Moving:
In most cases we can clean around large furniture such as cabinets. Our carpet cleaning process is a deep steam cleaning but will not damage any furniture. We generally move lounge suites and chairs if needed but we ask that you have any small furniture and breakables out of the rooms before carpet cleaning. Of course if you cannot do something on your own, just ask us. We are more than happy to help. We cannot move electronics, dressers, heavy beds, sectionals, etc. Our specialty is carpet cleaning.
Carpet Cleaning:
Using a powerful truck mounted carpet cleaning unit (industry standards) we thoroughly clean the carpet with hot fresh water. Our carpet cleaning units are capable of heating the water to maximum cleaning potential with vacuum power strong enough to leave your carpets only slightly damp after the carpet cleaning process.
Our carpet cleaners are well trained to operate these superior carpet cleaning systems and care about your home as to not allow any dangerous situations. We only bring the end of the hoses into your home with a carpet cleaning steam wand tool so the mechanical parts never enter you home. The carpet cleaning machine stays outside in the work vehicle.
Drying:
With our superior carpet cleaning your carpets should be dry in a matter of a few hours. We take every measure to get your carpet clean dry and back to a usable condition ASAP. We understand that your time is valuable and you need to be able to walk on your carpets in order to live in your home. This small inconvenience is necessary to be sure your carpets are as clean as possible.
Spot Cleaning:
Most stains and spots can be removed from your carpet. There may be permanent damage from things such as bleach, red dye or pet urine, but we do everything in our power to remove any unwanted discoloration from your fibres during the cleaning process. With our technology we are able to remove most stains that were not removable in the past. Our carpet cleaner will have a look at your carpeting before the cleaning and let you know in his best opinion what will and what won't come out of your carpet.
Stain Removal:
A discoloration of the carpet. To remove the staining color must be changed to match the color of the carpet or removed enough to show the original color of the carpet, all our carpet cleaners are fully trained to do so during the carpet cleaning or stain removal process.
Spot Removal:
An added ingredient to the fibres that has not changed the color of the carpet but has just covered it enough so that the original color of the carpet cannot be seen. To "Remove", the spot must be carpet cleaned out with a certain carpet cleaning solution depending on the type of spot. Some spots can leave a "Stain" or discoloration of the fibres and this will be determined after the carpet cleaning.
