Re-Stretching:
As carpet ages it loses some of its tension & stability. If the carpet is not re-stretched back soon, the pile sitting higher will prematurely wear out.
OSH NZ has been cracking down on these loose carpet issues due to the accident hazards carpet humps can present. We can re-stretch your carpet back into shape, trimming off any excess. $9- m2.

Patching (Bonded Insert):
Water from indoor pot plants without a suitable tray, causes the surrounding carpet to rot. This breaks down the carpet construction, also harbouring harmful fungus spores. If left too late, this carpet area may need to be replaced with a good piece of carpet from a mat or closet. $65 per bonded insert.

Seam Repairs:
High wear areas can open previously joined carpet. This can also be a hazard, if not professionally heat bonded and re-seamed back together. $45 per seam.

Renovation Alterations:
Renovations of all kinds can change the flooring type or layout, whether it be butting carpet up to tiles/vinyl etc or wall divider changes. In most cases the carpet can be made to fit the changes. Quoted on site.

Sun Fade:
95% of carpets over a year old that are exposed to natural elements, show signs of colour loss. High traffic areas will also lose their colour. In this state the carpet is particularly vulnerably to setting in stains, this lost colour can be re-applied and guaranteed to last as long as the original carpet colour. $12 per m2 of effected area.
